HeyLady.COM and Shayne-Michael.COM are splitting in two
Over the past two years HeyLady.COM and Shayne-Michael.COM have been in a joint venture to develop tools
for comics. It is now time for HeyLady.COM and Shayne-Michael.COM to part ways. I have enormous respect for the contributions
Rob Twohy has made to this industry and I wish HeyLady well. However, we are both incredibly strong egos. It is therefore time for
the sites to part ways so I can create the site I envision for both comedy lovers and comedians alike.
Recent Site Updates.
Okay, it's time to stop talking about Rob & HeyLady, that was almost five years ago. In case you would like
to see what this site can do compared to chucklemonkey, Go Here. It's a chart I made for the
first major update to the site. This site seriously gives more tools to comedians than just about any other site on the internet. And now,
with the free membership system you can even create private open mics, club listings and comments on venues which you can strategically share
with your peers.
A note to anyone annoyed HeyLady ever charged membership fees: When comics whine about $3 per month charge as voluteer webmasters put
thousands of hours into a site to improve the industry, it is the complainers that have destroyed the comedy industry. When we are willing to invest in those
who invest in us, everyone will win. If that offends you please go back to Chuckle Monkey. Free or not, this site wasn't created for you.
Those people who don't feel offended by what I just wrote: I hope to see you at the finish line
For the record we use hundreds of sources to update our sysem. But your input is the most valued asset. We don't steal the intellectual property of
other sites, for one reason, I find that type of behavior offensive. And I am not the only one accusing the aforementioned site of unethical behavior.
The insults at Mr Buttersworth are from another web master who did the same thing I have here,
only to find heis database became a primary source for someone unwilling to do his own leg work. Club owners, do you think that kind of entitlement behavior
appeals to the people you do, or the people you don't want in your club. I respect and support Mr Butter Worth's attempt to give you an alternative.
If you don't like this site, for whatever reason, I strongly encourage you to support his.
