Shayne Michael's: Rank Comedians, Comic Actors, Films & Sitcoms

This site allows you to rank the best comedians, comic actors, films and sitcoms. It also contains over 214 biographies of well known comedians, comic actors, writers and comedy producers. In some cases this site is the only complete biography on the Internet.

#1: The Top 100 Comedias: This is an interactive poll that began with Comedy Centrals top 100 stand-up comics of all time and allowed you to manipulate the results. You can move comics up or down one space every three days. You can also nominate comics who are not on the list. Once nominated, they must be seconded by someone else. Once that happens the comedian ranked at #100 drops off the list and is replaced.

#2: The Top 100 Comic Actors This is a slightly newer poll to find the top 100 comic actors of all times. The rules are exactly the same as the top 100 comedians, except this list is being built from scratch, we're not starting with someone else's list.

#3: Stand-Up Comedin Bios: Over 95 biographies of the most important stand-up comedians of our time. It also includes everyone on Comedy Central's original 100 best stand-up comics list. These bios were often compiled from up to five different sources, often making them the most comprehensive biography of that person on the net.

#4: Comic Actor Bios: There are currently over 115 comic actor bios at this site going all the way back to the time of Will Rogers and Fatty Arbuckle and up into the present including bios for up an coming comics like Daniel Tosh.

#5: The Comedy Film Database: This database includes over 500 films. You can comment on these films as a comedian or a comedy fan. You can rank the film, the cast or the individual components of the film. Each film also includes a synopsis that does not contain any spoilers. Basically, the site will only take you as far as the setting and trys not to spoil the film.

#6: The Sitcom Database: This is exactly like the film database except that it focuses on over 95 American Sitcoms. One sepcial feature is the ability to purchase all the seasons of your favorite sitcom by following a simple set of links below the synopsis.
